MudVerse
Play-to-Earn NFT Battle Card Game
What It Is + How To Play
Overview
MudVerse is a Web3 battle card game where you collect NFT cards, build a deck, and fight in PvE (vs the game) and PvP (vs other players). You can earn progression, season rewards, and (when enabled) capped $MUD™ rewards—designed to be funded by real game activity, not "infinite emissions."
Think: collect → build → battle → rank up → unlock perks.

What You Own
1) Your Wallet = Your Account
You play using a Solana wallet (like Phantom). Your wallet holds:
  • MUDNFT battle cards (your playable collection)
  • optional $MUD™ tokens
  • your on-chain identity (public wallet address)
2) NFT Cards = Your Roster
Each NFT card is a character/unit with:
  • a rarity (Common → Mythic)
  • a role (Tank, Bruiser, Assassin, Support, Mage)
  • stats (how hard it hits, how much it can take, how fast it moves)
  • optional traits (small bonuses or special flavor)
Rarity boosts a card's base power a little, but the game is balanced so strategy matters.
How battles work (simple)
MudVerse battles are turn-based:
Initiative
The fastest cards act first.
Your Turn, Your Choice
On your turn you choose an action:
  • a basic attack, or
  • a special ability (stronger attack or a special effect like stun, shield, heal, etc.)
Claim Victory
You win by defeating your opponent's key unit/commander (depending on the mode).
The game includes light randomness so every match isn't identical, but skill and deck-building are the main drivers.
The game modes
1) PvE Runs (vs the game)
This is the main "daily grind" mode. You fight through a set of battles (and sometimes a boss). You earn XP, materials, and progress. Great for learning the game and building your collection.
2) PvP Ranked (vs players)
This is the competitive mode. Matches place you on a ladder. You earn rank and season points. Entries are limited per day to reduce farming and keep it fair.
3) Solo Challenges (quick daily mode)
Short, high-skill challenges. Fast battles. Daily objectives. Great for steady progress even if you only have a few minutes.
4) Tournaments (optional events)
Time-boxed competitions with a clear prize pool and strict rules.
How you "Play to Earn" (the safe version)
MudVerse is designed so rewards are realistic and sustainable:
You earn progression first:
XP, ranks, seasonal points, cosmetics, titles.
When token rewards are enabled:
$MUD™ rewards are capped and based on participation rules.
Key idea:
Rewards come from game activity, not endless printing.
The economy in plain English
When players pay game fees (like ranked entries or tournament entries), those fees go into the ecosystem:
Players pay fees in SOL (Solana's network coin)
Treasury collects SOL
A portion is used to buy back $MUD™ in controlled amounts
That purchased $MUD™ is placed into a Reward Vault
Weekly rewards are paid out under strict caps and runway protection
So if activity is low, rewards naturally slow down instead of draining the system.
How to start playing (first session)
Connect your wallet
Go to mudnfts.com and connect Phantom (or another supported wallet).
Get your starter cards
You'll either: mint a starter pack, or receive a starter set, or buy a few starter cards on a marketplace (depending on release phase)
Build your deck
Pick cards that work together: at least one frontline/tank, damage dealers, a support card for sustain or buffs. New players do best with simple synergy (tank + damage + heal/shield).
Play PvE first
Learn the flow, earn materials, and upgrade your deck.
Enter ranked when ready
When your deck feels consistent, step into PvP to climb ranks and earn seasonal points.
What makes a good deck (easy rules)
Balance
don't go all damage or all defense
Synergy
cards that boost each other's traits/roles
Consistency
fewer "cute" cards, more reliable plays
Speed control
having at least one fast card helps you set the pace
Progression & seasons (why you'll keep playing)
MudVerse runs in seasons:
Climb & Quests
You climb the ladder and complete seasonal quests.
Seasonal Rewards
You earn seasonal rewards like cosmetics, badges, titles, and perks.
Dynamic Meta
Seasons refresh the meta so the game doesn't get stale.
Fairness & anti-exploit rules (player-friendly)
To keep the game fair:
ranked entries are limited per day
repeated farming patterns get reduced value
suspicious activity can be flagged
rewards (if enabled) have caps so whales/bots can't drain the system
What you can earn
Depending on what's live in that phase:
1
XP + Ranks
2
Season Points
3
Crafting materials
4
Cosmetics / badges / titles
5
Capped $MUD™ rewards (when enabled)
Quick FAQ
Do I need to be a crypto expert?
No. If you can use a wallet and click "sign," you can play.
Is this pay-to-win?
It's designed not to be. Rarity helps, but strategy, match limits, and balancing keep it skill-driven.
Can rewards disappear?
Rewards and mechanics can change for balance and sustainability. That's why seasons + caps exist.
What wallet do I use?
Phantom is recommended.
